Hibiscus flowers are abundant in Bangladesh but I have never heard of Hibiscus tea until I was planning for a trip to Egypt few years ago. I couldn’t wait to land and try hibiscus tea and sure enough had it during the very first breakfast in Cairo. The taste was as exotic as it sounded. When I found this Hibiscus Punch, I knew I had to include it for Ramadan recommendation.
To keep the Arabian theme, Muhammara, the red pepper and pomegranate molasses dip, is on the menu today.
