I love this dried fruit compote. Even though it says it’s winter fruit compote, there’s no reason not to try during summertime Ramadan. A great food for suhur – healthy, nutritious and comforting. I think I’ll like the compote warm. How do you like your compote?
A rich, spicy, one pot laksa save me time in the kitchen leaving me more time to devote to prayers and family. During Ramadan, I usually get the laksa paste from an oriental store instead of making the paste at home. Saves me even more time.
Denise Browning, a former lawyer, is a warm and friendly person and blogs about Brazilian food on her blog from Brazil to You. Along with mouth-watering Brazilian cuisine, you’ll also find various fusion and home cook recipes on her blog. When I saw the Pina Colada Cheesecake smoothie few months ago, I knew this was something I will make during Ramadan and must recommend to all of you. Virgin pina colada and cheesecake, a brilliant combination!
