Today’s food for thought –
Do you hold grudges for a long time or are you the forgiving type? Shouldn’t we be forgiving others in this life like we want God to forgive us in the next life? Something to ponder.
Now on to real food for the stomach. How about some Mexican fiesta? Starting with Champurrado, Mexican hot chocolate. Who doesn’t like hot chocolate? Anyone?
The Taco Pie from is absolutely gorgeous. You can use so many other protein or vegetables besides what’s recommended. For example, layer Muhammara and kofta for an Middle Eastern taste, or the kale pesto and your favorite Italian chicken or shrimp recipe for an Italian fair. Last but not least, how about some radish chutney and shredded chicken curry for a Bangladeshi tortilla pie? Mmmm…mmmm…mmmm…
To end the fiesta, nothing is more appropriate than a Flan cake.
