‘And be true to every promise for, verily you will be called to account for every promise which you have made.’ (al-Isra 17: 34)
I would like to apologize to all who were missing the daily Ramadan posts. Even though I had planned many of these daily posts well in advance, I failed to keep my promise last week. My family needed my full attention and I chose to do so. My scheduled posts ran out and I wasn’t able to put any time into the blog last week. I hope you understand and would accept my sincere apology.
Today’s featured drink is the Exotic Iced tea. Even though this tea is great served hot, my personal preference is the cold one after fasting during summer.
Next is a recipe with another exotic ingredient, purple yam. I’ve known Tunazzina, a.k.a. The Twisted Chef T through a Bangladeshi Facebook group. Even though I’ve never met her in person, I admire her down to earth personality. Her Purple Yam soup is as exotic as the main ingredient used in the recipe.
To round up today’s inspiration, I present you with Apple Confit.
Feel free to look over the previous Ramadan menu recommendations and make sure you haven’t missed anything.
